Saunapilates is a half an hour exercise based on pilates technique. The temperature of the sauna is 50 degrees Celsius. The exercise focuses on body posture and preventing back problems.
Ruka Safaris has three saunas that are suitable for sauna pilates lessons. Also the saunas in our Majatalo Ruka and Luppolinna cottages are excellent for saunapilates lessons.

PREPARING FOR SAUNA PILATES:
-wear short sleeved and comfortable clothes
-drink lots of water before and after the lesson
-do not use any lotions on your skin before the program
-remove all jewellery that can heat up in the sauna
-make a pony tail if you have long hair
